Ad Sales Manager

Our client, a renowned organization, is seeking to hire an Ad Sales Manager. As part of this role the successful incumbent would be responsible for organization-wide development and implementation of sales strategy to achieve company short and long-term goals for Ad-Sales across several platforms. The successful incumbent to this position will work in close collaboration with all of the other lines of business including the retail, marketing and media networks teams. The successful incumbent should have media and digital sales experience.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying partner opportunities in the market.
  • Manage an existing portfolio and where needed to find new business to achieve sales targets.
  • Professionally representing our client by educating agencies and clients on offerings and insights.
  • Perform research on clients as well as market trends.
  • Become involved in client strategy development.
  • Create bespoke proposals to suit client/ agency briefs.
  • Achieve annual targets.
  • Attend biweekly sales meetings and present figures to the team.
  • Advising clients on production and creative solutions.
  • Managing compliance and regulations of Ads.
  • Super service including time management of campaigns.
  • Prepare and conduct sales pitches to agencies and direct clients.
  • Plan and implement trade marketing activity (including events, marketing collateral etc).
  • Lead the sales process for selected deals/ agencies or direct clients.
  • Keep abreast of market developments e.g. client spend patterns etc.
