Financial Manager CA(SA)

Must have experience with imports, forex and purchasing risk.

About the role:

• Strategic Decision Influence: Our client values your financial acumen, and you’ll have the chance to influence strategic decisions, contributing to the success of the management team and the entire organization.
• Financial Leadership: As the FM, you’ll work with the CFO to be at the forefront of financial planning, continuously analysing performance, identifying risks, and seizing opportunities to ensure the company’s financial wellbeing.
• Efficiency & Risk Management: Your financial expertise will play a pivotal role in maximizing efficiencies while minimising financial risks, helping the company maintain its financial stability.
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports that will provide the insights necessary for strategic decision-making.
• Mastery of Finance: Manage all tax and compliance affairs, expertly oversee cash flow and working capital, and handle forex purchasing and risk.
• Relationship Builder: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with service providers, including banking institutions and auditors, to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead, direct, and manage the company’s dedicated finance and accounts personnel, guiding their growth and development.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Qualified CA (SA).
• Proven success with 5+ years’ experience in a finance management position.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to connect with staff at all levels.
• Adaptability to embrace change and proactively tackle new situations.
• Driven by results and a focus on metrics.
• Highly Advantageous: Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Advantageous: Familiarity with Syspro ERP.
